Amazon Deals

A guide to help you navigate through Amazon’s Prime Day, Cyber Monday and other big sales, plus a comprehensive list of Amazon deals.

Amazon is the world’s biggest online retailer, and part of their huge success is thanks to their sales periods. However, Amazon’s deals can be overwhelming, particularly during big promotional periods, like Black Friday and Prime Day. Therefore, we’ve collated a handy guide on how to navigate these sales and included the best deals on Amazon at the moment.

Prime Day

Amazon Prime Day actually lasts for two days and is an exclusive sale for Prime members. This sale is one to watch out for - it offers some of the biggest savings of the year, and it’s especially useful for nabbing deals on tech products that are rarely discounted.

Black Friday

Cyber Monday

As soon as Halloween’s over, businesses start feeding their Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals into the press. We’ve scoured the web and the list of deals below are continuously updated. Cyber Monday is on the Monday after Black Friday, and the two sales aren’t hugely different. Originally, Black Friday was a sale for in-person shopping, and Cyber Monday was for online shopping, but with the growth of online retail, both sales are mostly online now. You can expect, however, to find slightly better deals on tech items on Cyber Monday.

Advice on making the most of Amazon deals

  1. Use Amazon Household. This feature allows you to split the bill with another adult in your household, plus add four kids. This is a clever way to make sure you all get the most out of your Prime membership - including access to Prime Day - without finding out what each other’s presents are.

  2. Get an Amazon Store Card or an Amazon Rewards VISA Card. The former will allow you to get 5% back on selected items at Amazon. The latter you can use to shop anywhere, and you get 5% back at Amazon and Wholefoods, as well as discounts in a handful of other shops.

  3. Think fast but smart. Amazon do sudden flash sales on certain items. These can save you a lot of money, and require you to act fast, but this sense of urgency can also lead to some questionable purchases.
